"I knew I wanted to use Nicole as my doula within the first few moments I spoke with her."
Her warm and nurturing nature put me to ease right away. She was very attentive not just during labor but also leading up to my due date and postpartum. Her medical background added to her being a great support person. She took tender care of my newborn and assured me verbally where she was when the midwife went to work on me. She was great with our older kids as well and helped them navigate the birthing space when needed. She arrived swiftly when we were ready.
Upon arrival she thoughtfully presented us with a birth candle and me a scented eye pillow. We also had her do our birth photography, and she did an amazing job. She beautifully captured the most significant moments and the environment before and after birth. She somehow managed to tend to my needs while also remaining camera ready at the same time.
I would recommend her to anyone who asks.

“Nicole was extremely influential on the outcome of my birth experience! Due to her help, I was able to have the unmedicated hospital birth that I wanted.”
We chose to work with Nicole because of her professional medical background and expert knowledge of mother and baby's anatomy. The two sessions we had with her before labor where amazing. She helped both me and my husband articulate our fears and what we wanted from the birth experience. Through her honesty and heartfelt emotion, he felt so much more prepared and fully supported. I came away with practical exercises to do to help position my baby and prepare for labor.
My water broke without contractions in a case of PROM. She guided my husband and I through the decision making process about medical interventions at the hospital. Talking with her gave me the confidence to advocate for the birth that I wanted. Even though she was double booked that day at another birth, she was always very responsive over the phone.
When she arrived during my labor, she was able to assess what stage I was in and when to go to the hospital. She was totally hands on; the pressure she put on my pelvis made a huge difference during my contractions. At the hospital, my husband says it felt like she was in charge of the room to help create the birth experience we wanted. She coached me through specific positions and breathing during pushing.
After the birth, she provided photos, video, and great recap notes. We debriefed and she answered any questions I had about baby care. I would have probably had a very different medicated birth if it weren't for Nicole and her help with preparation and advocacy! I recommend her with all my heart!

Nicole was everything I hoped for in a doula - compassionate, empathetic, and deeply supportive.
As someone with PCOS, endometriosis, and Adenomyosis, I knew I needed a doula who not only understood these conditions and their risks but could also support me with compassion and advocate for me when it mattered most. From our very first consultation with Nicole, my husband and I immediately felt her blend of medical knowledge, warmth, and understanding, and we knew she was the right fit.
In late pregnancy, Nicole guided us through thoughtful conversations about our journey, our hopes for birth, and possible scenarios we might face. She helped us draft our birth intentions, provided detailed notes and resources, and created a safe space for us to ask questions and feel prepared.
When I went into labor prematurely, Nicole was steady and reassuring from the very beginning - first coaching us virtually when we thought it might be false labor, then arriving at the hospital right when we needed her most. She advocated for my pain management and labor positions, guided both me and my husband through each stage, and was attentive to the smallest details like hydration and comfort. The most powerful moment for me was during a sudden complication, when the room filled with medical staff and chaos. I was overwhelmed and in tears, and Nicole stepped in to ground me - shielding me from the flurry of activity, calmly explaining what was happening, and helping me refocus in the critical moments leading up to my daughter’s birth.
After my daughter was born, as most people’s focus shifted to the baby, Nicole remained by my side - just as her website promises. She was still my person, my support, which allowed my husband to confidently be present with our newborn and savor the precious first moments of fatherhood while knowing I was cared for. She even embraced our request to help with birth photography, gifting us treasured images of one of the most special days of our lives.
After delivery, she stayed to ensure I was fed, hydrated, and supported in establishing breastfeeding. In the days and weeks that followed, she continued to check in, answer questions, and provide comfort and guidance.
Nicole was everything I hoped for in a doula - compassionate, empathetic, and deeply supportive. She advocated for me, empowered me, and made me feel cared for every step of the way. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking not just a doula, but a true partner and advocate in their birth journey.
We were first recommended Nicole by our midwife, and choosing her was easily the best decision we made for our home birth experience.
In the lead-up, Nicole met with us multiple times to ensure we were completely aligned on our birth plan, including a thorough home visit where we discussed logistics for the big day.
On the day of the birth, her intuition and dedication were incredible. She was in touch with my partner and arrived at our home before I even realized I truly needed her presence. Nicole provided exactly the calm, focused support I required, yet still had the energy and awareness to simultaneously care for my partner and my mother.
My mom was initially quite skeptical of the home natural birth and doesn't speak English, but Nicole was able to put her at ease. My mom commented multiple times afterwards how essential and comforting it was to have Nicole there, bridging that gap and providing reassurance.
Nicole stayed long after the baby arrived to ensure we were settled and also followed up later with a check-in on breastfeeding and post-labor recovery.
After my experience I'm a stroger beliver that everyone should have a doula for their delivery. If you are looking for an exceptional, intuitive, and deeply supportive doula who truly cares for the entire family unit, you are in great hands with Nicole.

"I feel that we have Nicole to thank for holding our hands and hearts through some of the most trying hours"
Nicole attended the birth of my son on barely an hour's notice as the fill in for our original doula. We had never met or spoken with her before and yet the minute she walked through the hospital door, I immediately felt at ease. Our son's birth was a series of traumatic events and I ended up having an emergency cesarean section at 24 weeks. I was terrified, for my baby and myself, and felt overwhelmed by the commotion happening around me. Nicole buoyed my husband and I amidst the storm, advocating for me and for us at every turn. It was such a tremendous gift to feel seen and held at such a tender and uncertain time. She even had the foresight to take photos, which I'm so grateful for now because the whole thing feels like a fever dream in my mind. She continued to support us in postpartum, driving over to visit us in the NICU and providing resources, recommendations, and tinctures to help. I'm so happy to say that we now have a very happy and healthy 8 month old baby and I feel that we have Nicole to thank for holding our hands and hearts through some of the most trying hours, days, and months of our lives. Thank you, Nicole!!

As a first-time mom who was induced early due to third-trimester complications, I was bracing myself for a long and possibly difficult labor. I had heard that inductions—especially for first-time moms—can take a long time, so I was nervous about what to expect.
Nicole was such a steady, reassuring presence throughout the entire process. She provided a thoughtful plan of exercises and wellness practices, which I followed as closely as I could. Her guidance helped me feel empowered and prepared. In the end, my labor lasted less than 24 hours from start to finish, was uncomplicated, and I pushed for less than an hour. I only needed one stitch—something I never imagined would be possible for my first birth.
Beyond the birth itself, Nicole was an incredible resource. She patiently answered all our questions, calmed our anxieties, and was always just a phone call away. Whether it was questions about labor, birth, or even postpartum recovery, she was there with warmth, compassion, and real expertise.
I can’t express how grateful I am to have had Nicole as part of this journey. Her support made all the difference.

"She stepped in when I needed her in my most vulnerable state"
Nicole was recommended to me by my Midwife, and I am so glad she was. I was unsure if having an additional person present for my son's birth in August 2021 was something I wanted - I'd already have my midwife and doula present. Turns out, it was the best decision for me. Not only did Nicole capture beautiful raw pictures of my experience, but she also trod so lightly that looking back I didn't realize she was in the room until I got the pictures back.
There was a moment when my doula was gone for a break - but of course, labor takes no breaks, and Nicole helped me through a wave of contractions.
It wasn't her job, but she stepped in when I needed her in my most vulnerable state. I can't recommend Nicole enough. She was warm, supportive, and knew exactly where to be.

"She will always put her mama’s first by answering your calls, checking in by texts and setting up time to walk through the birthing process and postpartum period."
I am so beyond grateful that I had Nicole by my side through my first pregnancy. She will always put her mama’s first by answering your calls, checking in by texts and setting up time to walk you through the birthing process and postpartum period. Nicole has extensive knowledge as a doula and the hospital where I delivered. Even though my birthing experience wasn’t as planned, Nicole was with me every step of the way.
I highly recommend Nicole to anyone that is thinking about getting a doula or just needs extra support during this exciting time in their lives!

"As with most births, we were dealing with an unexpected hiccup in our birth plan that we had thoughtfully created and hoped for."
Nicole showed up, handled the situation, and commanded the room in a way I couldn't in my state, and I am forever grateful. She ensured a smoother birth going forward and LISTENED to what little I could communicate, and there is no grief for the birth that might have been.
Nicole was a key part of my birth team, and I recommend her wholeheartedly.

"We were incredibly fortunate to have had such an amazing doula by our side during the birth of our first child."
Despite being a last-minute replacement, she immediately put us at ease with her professionalism, compassion, and expertise.
Throughout the entire birth process, she was a constant source of support, providing my wife with comfort measures to help her through contractions and emotional support to keep her focused and positive. Her calming presence and guidance helped us navigate the challenges of labor and delivery with confidence.
We can't express enough how grateful we are for her help in bringing our baby into the world. Her dedication to her work and her genuine care for our family made all the difference in our birth experience. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and skilled in supporting families during childbirth.

"I am so grateful for her support, calming presence and constant coaching"
I was very fearful of a vaginal birth and from the first time I met with Nicole she really listened, understood my concerns, related to my experiences and gave me practical tips, resources and suggestions to help me prepare for labor. She was available over the phone and in person throughout my pregnancy and beyond. I am so grateful for her support, calming presence and constant coaching through my labor and delivery. Her consistent reminders that "you are safe and you're exactly where you need to be right now" kept me focused and present. She literally talked me through every contraction! I was able to have a smooth and unmedicated VBAC!!! Our experience and outcome would have been very different if Nicole wasn't part of our birth team. I cannot recommend her highly enough. We are so thankful for our positive and healing birthing experience!

"She helped guide our birth wish list and it felt good knowing we had our own advocate.”
Nicole is an angel. It was so helpful to get together with her and ask all the questions to help ease my husband and I nerves. She also brought up so many things we never thought of. She came up with so many ideas for birth, how to deal with family and healthcare providers. She helped provide a list of local resources and knows pretty much everyone. She helped guide our birth wish list and it felt good knowing we had our own advocate. In the end my baby was breech, she was there during my version and really helped to ground me. Nicole also was present right before and after my belly birth. She helped ease my husband and I, helped me latch and fed me French fries right after. Nicole met us at home and helped me navigate the whirlwind of hormones/tears. Absolutely love her, very special person for a very special time in our lives.

"Nicole was with me by my side and she knew with confidence exactly where I was in the progression of labor. I felt safe and seen the whole time."
I’m so incredibly grateful I found Nicole when I was looking for a doula to support me with the birth of my first baby. Though initially against the will of my partner, it was the best decision for us. Nicole was so instrumental from beginning to end. Prior to delivery, she helped me navigate some decisions around maternity leave, natural induction methods, medical induction, and she spent some genuine time answering all of my questions and concerns. As an RN, I didn’t want to be in my medical brain and she helped me trust the power of my body and baby. Nicole was with me by my side and she knew with confidence exactly where I was in the progression of labor. I felt safe and seen the whole time. She was able to gracefully guide me through various labor positions until we found the ones where I coped the best during contractions- in this amazing birth sling! I was really able to fully surrender to the pain and make good progress moving my baby down when I was squatting or leaning into the sling. Nicole said something so profound to me during labor that allowed me to have the birth of my dreams, she said, “We spend a good 9-10 months holding onto our babies, keeping them safe inside us, now is the time to let your baby go.” This hit home for me, especially with previous pregnancy loss. I was in such awe of my body and baby in the end. I managed to safely and quickly birth my 9lb 1oz baby boy at 41 weeks, after pitocin induction - with no pain meds! Shocking I know considering my birth plan was to take meds if needed! Nicole was also a huge support to my partner throughout, helping him know exactly what I needed, whether it was touch, massage, or encouraging words. She is truly a wonderful, knowledgeable, comforting, birth advocate. Labor is such an intimate, vulnerable, beautiful and challenging experience to say the least and trust me, you want Nicole’s expertise and encouragement!

"She gently whispered calm directions in my ear when all seemed so chaotic around me and helped me find control of my breath and she did it all so perfectly!"
I was already in early labor the first time I met Nicole. She was available when the doula I chose to work with in pregnancy wasn’t and Nicole stepped in effortlessly to help me, a perfect stranger. It was my first child and even though I was scared about what I was about to experience, Nicole calmly and graciously walked me through each phase and did it so well I didn’t need medical interventions. My birth plan came to fruition. I was fed water the whole time, she knew positions for every stage to help me through it, she told me when I was breathing too fast and communicated to the nurses for me without my asking, she supported my husband and guided him through the process, she gently whispered calm directions in my ear when all seemed so chaotic around me and helped me find control of my breath and she did it all so perfectly! I know I wouldn’t have been able to relax myself enough to give birth without her, and I’m so grateful to have such a wonderfully perfect stranger step into our lives at such an important time. I can’t do enough to say thank you for all that you are, Nicole. Thank you!!
Much Love, Genevieve
“I wholeheartedly believe my pre/post pregnancy and labor and delivery went so well because of Nicole!"
Having a Nicole as my doula was by far the best decision I made for my birth!
I knew I wanted to do an unmedicated birth if possible and with Nicole's help I was able to achieve that! She was able to guide me and my husband through my contractions and progress my labor pretty quickly (I went from 7cm to 10 cm in maybe about 20 min!). Nicole was able to relate my birth plan to the hospital staff which included not birthing on my back, delayed cord cutting and skin on skin, and dad cutting the cord. I also pushed for 5 min and the baby was out! There's so much more I could say about my experience with Nicole but to sum it up, if you're considering hiring a doula, hire Nicole-- you won't regret it. I wholeheartedly believe my pre/post pregnancy and labor and delivery went so well because of Nicole! Also, she isn't there just for the "pushing" part, she is there whenever you need her to be!

“Working with Nicole during my pregnancy and birth was a wonderful experience.”
What I loved most about working with Nicole was that she discussed all of our options with us and didn’t judge us regardless of what we chose for our growing family. Nicole’s presence helped us feel extremely prepared and safe. She also helped me feel brave and capable of childbirth, recovery, and breastfeeding. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nicole’s doula services to others, and would be happy to connect with anyone who is considering working with her!!

“Nicole is a phenomenal doula! I am beyond grateful for the services and support she provided me and my husband for our first-born son.”
From the first prenatal visits, she put us at ease by listening actively and earnestly to our birth intentions and questions. She blends her medical background with an approachable manner - I felt I could ask her anything! I especially appreciated that Nicole involved my husband and reassured us she would look out for his well-being too during labor and delivery. When I went into active labor late at night, Nicole answered the phone and calmly instructed us on next steps. A few hours later around 4am, she proactively texted me to check-in, and THANK GOODNESS she did, because things were escalating and she told us to get going to the hospital. When we got into the room, I’d feel contractions coming and I’d look directly for Nicole’s guidance as she coached me on how to breathe, tuck, push - encouraging me every single time. She worked seamlessly alongside the midwives, and suggested we try a different labor position and held up my leg (Nicole is also very strong!) She played a tremendous role of being my advocate, and it was extremely comforting to have her presence by my side. Nicole also went above and beyond by asking me if I wanted her to take birth photos and videos- I said yes and a few weeks later, I absolutely cherish these miraculous moments captured on my phone. She had also asked if I wanted to see my placenta (which I didn’t even know was a possibility) and I think she ran down the hall to retrieve the biohazard bag back, and we got to marvel at this amazing life-giving organ together. I whole-heartedly recommend Nicole as a birth doula - what makes her outstanding is her passion for birth, her sincerity and sense of humor, and dedication to her craft. A couple days after birth, she came over for a visit, held our baby boy and even showed us a calming hold that allowed him to stretch and be more comfortable out of the womb. My birth experience was positive because of Nicole’s preparation and presence and I am truly thankful for her gifts to us.
Jess
There will never be enough words to explain how powerful and necessary Nicole's support was to our family during preparation for and during labor and delivery, and the impact she had on those days (yes... DAYS!), and my heart.
As it is often said, labor rarely goes as planned, and mine certainly did not, but Nicole remained by my side through every single moment.
She was my coach, my motivation, my "second spouse" for 3 straight days as I worked to bring my baby into the world. She stayed awake with me, encouraged me to persist and move my body, and listened to and validated, both, mine and my partner's feelings and needs.
In the meetings we had before labor, Nicole led us through discussion of all the possible scenarios/interventions ahead, and took note of our every preferences, so when when things we'd hoped wouldnt happen did, neither I, nor my partner, had to use our much needed spare energy to advocate for ourselves, as Nicole was prepared to do the job. She whispered kind and focusing words to me to keep me dedicated to my single job of bringing my baby out of my body, instead of the noise of hard decisions around us.
While so many parts of my labor became out of our hands, Nicole held me in hers and took the best care of me and my partner. Beautiful moments were made true by her care and attentiveness, and I am forever thankful to her.
